Do I need to be home for the grooming appointment?

For your first appointment, yes — a responsible adult must be home so we can meet your dog, review any concerns, and safely transition them into our mobile grooming unit.
After you become an established client, we do offer Lock & Key Service that allows grooming without you being home.

How does mobile grooming work?

We come directly to your home in a fully equipped, climate-controlled grooming unit. Your dog is groomed one-on-one from start to finish, then returned safely to your front door or wherever you request.
On the day of your appointment, you will receive a text message with your ETA before we arrive.

What areas do you serve?

We currently provide mobile grooming in:
Vinton • Carlyss • Sulphur • Lake Charles • Moss Bluff • Westlake • Iowa • Hackberry • Kinder

If you're nearby, we may still be able to serve you depending on our route.

How long does grooming take?

Most grooming appointments take 1–2 hours, depending on:
• Size of your dog
• Coat condition
• Behavior
• Type of service requested

Heavily matted dogs, double-coated breeds, and puppies may take longer.

Do you groom all breeds and sizes?

We groom many small, medium, and select large breeds depending on coat type and behavior. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us with your dog’s breed and weight.

What if my dog is anxious, elderly, or has special needs?

We specialize in gentle grooming for seniors, anxious dogs, and sensitive pets. Our quiet, one-on-one environment helps reduce stress. Please note any medical or behavioral concerns on your New Client Form so we can prepare properly.

What if my dog is matted?

If your dog’s coat is matted, we will always prioritize their comfort and safety.
Light tangles can often be brushed out, but severe matting requires shaving to prevent injury or pain.
We will evaluate your dog at the start of the appointment and discuss the safest option.

Do you trim nails only?

At this time, we offer nail trims only during a full service appointment, not as a standalone service.

Do you offer anal gland expression?

Yes — anal glands can be expressed upon request or if needed during your dog’s bath service.

Do you pluck ears?

Ear plucking is performed upon request, as not all dogs benefit from it. Let us know your preference on your intake form.

What if the weather is bad?

Our grooming unit is fully climate-controlled and can operate during most weather conditions.
However, unsafe conditions like flooding, ice, or severe storms may require rescheduling for safety.

How do cancellations work?

We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.
